Service Description

Jump-start your cooking skills in this class where we will teach you how to care for your knives and use them skillfully, safely, and efficiently. You will learn many classical knife cuts, their dimensions and their uses. Afterwards, you'll sit down and enjoy the meal that you prepared with your beautifully cut ingredients. Students are requested to bring a chef's knife to class (8-inch or larger, not serrated - example below), but house knives will be available for use as well. MENU: Butternut Squash Soup, Sautéed Chicken with Mushroom Marsala Sauce, Roasted Vegetables, Roasted Potatoes, and Fruit Compote with Ice Cream. Menu Contains: Wheat, Milk, Egg, Meat, Alcohol (Menu can be made wheat free with advance notice via e-mail) Attention customers with food allergies: Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. 48 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. 24 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled. COVID-19: If you are experiencing ANY symptoms, we ask that you DO NOT attend class. Please cancel and you will receive a future class credit.
