  • Events typically occur Sunday any time or Monday evening (when no class is listed on the calendar), Virtual classes are available upon request. 

  • Choose a class topic from the list below or let Chef Mara create a menu for you. 

  • Pricing starts at $85 per person and is based on the menu you choose. 

  • Wine/Beer may be brought to The Foodie School to be enjoyed with your meal. N/A beverages are included in the cost of the event. 

  • 50% deposit is required to hold a date for your event. Balance is due the day of the event.

  • Final head count is due one week before your event and no adjustment to

          price will be made afterward. 

  • Cancellation deadline is 2 weeks prior to event for refund. 

  • Please alert Chef Mara at the time of booking if any of your participants have food allergies or restrictions (The Foodie School is not an allergen-free facility). 

  • If the class exceeds max capacity and requires a second chef, a $100 fee will apply.

If you haven’t got an Italian mamma to teach you how to make pasta at home, join us for a hands-on experience to learn the process! Making your own pasta is deeply satisfying, surprisingly easy, and the results are delicious. Students learn the techniques for making basic pasta dough; using a pasta machine to roll and cut fettuccini and pasta sheets for ravioli; cutting and filling ravioli; and preparing pasta sauces. At the end of class, we’ll sit down to an Italian pasta feast. 

MENU: Fettuccine with Prosciutto, Cream, & Nutmeg; Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage-Brown Butter Sauce; Salad and Teacup Tiramisu will be served.

Fall is the time for everything pumpkin. From our coffee to our dessert, we’ll explore some traditional and innovative ways to use the iconic gourd. 

MENU: Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Squash Jewels; Homemade Pumpkin Rolls; Sauteed Chicken with Pumpkin Cream Sauce; Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Spiced Rum Buttercream

Get in the Halloween mood and sink your fangs into our feast of frightful foods. Terrorize your taste buds with these tempting treats. Come in costume . . . if you dare! (Please make sure that your costume is kitchen safe. Closed toed shoes, etc.) 


MENU: Garlicky Asparagus Spears; Crimson Potatoes; Charred Steak with Velvety Red Wine Sauce; and Red Velvet Cake.

Take a tour of Germany with The Foodie School as we teach you how to make the hearty and delectable dishes from Deutchland. Don your lederhosen and say Prost because we didn’t forget the music or the beer. 

MENU: Cabbage with Caraway Butter; Hot German Potato Salad; Schnitzel Sandwich on Homemade Pretzel Roll; and Apple Strudel.

Tapas are the heart of Spanish dining where everyone congregates together for good food and conversation. Create an evening of small plates and one-bite wonders that you can recreate for your next get-together and feel like you’re on a roof top in Spain. 

MENU: Bacon Wrapped Dates; Citrus Olive Salad; Gambas alla Plancha; and Churros with Spicy Chocolate Sauce.

Taking the family to a sushi restaurant can get quite expensive. After this class, you'll be able to create your own stunning sushi dishes in your own home. We'll make sushi rice, a variety of rolls and side dishes, and wash it all down with a glass of sake! 

MENU: Vegetable Spring Roll; Salad with Ginger Dressing; Assorted Sushi Rolls; and Fortune Cookies.

There’s nothing like a great night out at the local pizzeria. We’ll enjoy some delicious Italian-American comfort foods that are sure beat delivery any day of the week.
