Things are getting frightfully sweet at Foodie! Join Jessica Tiner of Frosted by Jess, our cookie and cake decorating guru, for a hands-on cupcake decorating workshop filled with spooky (and seriously cute) Halloween creations. You’ll transform cupcakes into a festive assortment of plump pumpkins, silly Frankensteins, spooky skeletons, and wrapped-up mummies, while learning the piping and decorating techniques that bring each character to life. Joy will guide you step by step through working with buttercream, choosing and using piping tips, creating different textures and shapes, layering details, and adding those finishing touches that make your cupcakes look bakery-ready. This beginner-friendly class is family fun for everyone and especially great for kids ages 8+! No decorating experience is necessary, so bring the kiddos, grab a friend, or come ready to get creative on your own. Best of all, you’ll leave with six beautifully decorated Halloween cupcakes and the skills and confidence to recreate them at home, just in time for spooky season. 🎃👻 Come for the tricks, leave with the treats! 🧁 CLASS TIME: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM BEER & WINE: Your Foodie experience just got even better! Beer and wine are now available for purchase on-site. Through October 13, guests may bring their own wine or beer for a $10 corkage fee. Outside liquor is strictly prohibited. Beginning October 14, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from The Foodie School. 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
