Service Description

Ready to become a more confident baker? Join us for Baking Academy, a hands-on series designed to build your skills from the ground up, one technique at a time. Each class focuses on essential baking methods and foundational recipes that every home baker should know. In this session, we’re starting with the building blocks of everyday baking: cookie mixing methods, biscuits, and quickbreads. You’ll explore how different mixing techniques and ingredient functions affect texture, tenderness, and structure, while learning the methods behind some of the most versatile bakes in your kitchen. You’ll learn not just how to follow a recipe, but why baking works, so you can approach new recipes with greater confidence and consistency. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, come prepared to mix, bake, and taste your way through a delicious morning of learning. CLASS TIME: Saturday, October 3 | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM WANT TO TAKE THE FULL ACADEMY? Each week can be purchased individually, so you’re welcome to join us for one class or all four. To book the complete four-week series, email thefoodieschool@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to help you get registered. The total price is the same as purchasing each class individually. BEER & WINE: Your Foodie experience just got even better! Beer and wine are now available for purchase on-site. We will remain BYOB through September 2026. October 1- 13, guests may bring their own wine or beer for a $10 corkage fee. Beginning October 14, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from The Foodie School.
