Service Description
Discover the secrets behind beautiful bakery-style holiday cookies in this hands-on workshop designed for bakers of every skill level. You'll start by making a batch of warmly spiced Ginger Spice Sugar Cookie dough before learning the techniques for rolling, cutting, and baking cookies that keep their perfect shape. From there, we'll make royal icing from scratch, tint colors, and learn how to thin icing to the proper consistencies for outlining, flooding, and decorative details. By the end of class, you'll have the knowledge, techniques, and confidence to create beautifully decorated holiday cookies from start to finish. MENU: Ginger Spice Sugar Cookies; Royal Icing from Scratch; Holiday Cookie Decorating Techniques. Menu contains: wheat, milk, egg CLASS TIME: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM BEER & WINE: Your Foodie experience just got even better! Beer and wine are now available for purchase on-site. Outside liquor is strictly prohibited. Beginning October 14, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from The Foodie School. 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
