Settle in for a cozy Saturday afternoon of Irish-inspired baking, where warm ovens, comforting techniques, and a relaxed kitchen atmosphere take center stage. Cozy Irish Bakes balances savory and sweet bakes, giving you something hearty to enjoy during class along with comforting treats to finish on a sweet note. This class focuses on approachable, homey recipes rooted in Irish tradition — the kind of baking that feels nostalgic, satisfying, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying the process. You’ll learn techniques you can easily recreate at home, all in a low-pressure, hands-on setting that’s ideal for a weekend afternoon. BYOB if you’d like to bring a cozy sip to enjoy while you bake. Come ready to relax, bake, and ease into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit — no pub crowds required. CLASS TIME: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM MENU: Irish Soda Bread with Herbed Kerrygold Butter and Stout Cheddar Soup, Oat Shamrock Shortbread, Sweet Currant Scones, & Sticky Toffee Pudding with Jameson’s Whiskey Caramel Menu Contains: Wheat, Milk, Eggs, Alcohol (Menu cannot be made wheat or milk free) BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
