Service Description
There are a number of classic wine pairings; Steak and Cabernet, Fish and Sauvignon Blanc. Now we'll create another, more Southern pairing: wine & swine! This class is all about pairing pork with the flavors wine brings to the table — think acidity, fruit, herbs, richness, and depth — built directly into the food. You’ll learn how to balance bold, savory pork dishes with bright, wine-inspired elements that make everything taste just a little more fancy (and a lot more delicious). It’s rich, cozy, and just indulgent enough to feel like a night out. MENU: Grilled Grape and Prosciutto Crostini; Bacon Sautéed Green Beans; Gruyere & Sherry Polenta; Sautéed Pork Chops with Rosé Butter Sauce; Lemon Olive Oil Cake with Blueberry Wine Sauce. Menu Contains: Wheat, Milk, Pork, Alcohol BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
