There’s nothing better than a cozy Southern supper in the middle of the week — especially when someone else is doing the planning. In this hands-on class, we’ll cook a comforting, classic meal inspired by Lowcountry flavors, perfect for slowing down and enjoying a great dinner without the fuss. You’ll learn simple, reliable techniques for building big flavor from everyday ingredients, from perfectly creamy grits to savory, well-seasoned shrimp and fresh seasonal sides. The evening wraps up with a sweet, nostalgic dessert that feels like the perfect ending to a homemade supper. This class is relaxed, welcoming, and designed to feel like a warm meal at the end of a long day — the kind you’ll want to recreate again and again. MENU: Fried Green Tomatoes with Remoulade; Garlic Grilled Okra; Southern Buttermilk Biscuits; Classic Shrimp & Grits with Bacon and Andouille Sausage; Warm Peach Crumble. Menu contains fish, shellfish, wheat, milk, egg, pork, alcohol CLASS TIME: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
