Turn up the heat just in time for Cinco de Mayo weekend in this bold and festive cooking experience! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the techniques behind one of Mexico’s most beloved comfort foods—tamales—while exploring the vibrant flavors and traditions that make this cuisine so craveable. Our chef will guide you through the process of preparing authentic tamales from scratch while building a menu packed with smoky, spicy, and celebratory flavors. It’s a lively evening of hands-on cooking, big flavors, and festive fun—perfect for kicking off Cinco de Mayo the delicious way. 🌶️ MENU: Chorizo Queso Fundido, Chipotle Mexican Rice, Blazin’ Street Corn, Red Pulled Pork Tamales, and Cinnamon Sugar Churros with Cayenne Chocolate Sauce Menu contains dairy, wheat, egg, pork, alcohol (gluten free option available with advance notice). gf friendly. CLASS TIME: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
