Service Description

From the vibrant coastlines of Brazil to the peaks of the Andes, this hands-on class is a flavorful journey through South America’s most beloved culinary traditions. You’ll explore the bold, soulful cooking that defines the region—where indigenous ingredients meet European influence to create dishes that are both comforting and exciting. Together, we’ll layer bright citrus, fresh herbs, rich spices, and slow-simmered flavors into a menu that’s as colorful as it is satisfying. Expect a night full of discovery, hands-on cooking, and those “wow, I didn’t know I could make this!” moments. If you’re ready to explore something a little different while still creating deeply craveable food, this class is your ticket across the continent. MENU: Causa de Camarones (Layered Shrimp, Avocado, and Peruvian Purple Potatoes) – PERU; Churrasco con Pebre Salsa (Grilled Spiced Flank Steak with Fresh Tomato & Cilantro Sauce) – CHILE; Feijoada (Hearty Bean, Sweet Potato & Pepper Stew) with Saffron Rice – BRAZIL; and Chocotorta (Layered Chocolate & Dulce de Leche Cream Parfait) – ARGENTINA. Menu contains shellfish, meat, pork, wheat, milk, eggs, alcohol CLASS TIME: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
