Service Description

In this immersive workshop, our instructors will guide you through every step of creating beautiful bakery-style cupcakes from scratch. You'll learn how to mix and bake tender, flavorful cupcakes, prepare silky buttercream, and achieve the perfect frosting consistency for decorating success. From there, we'll dive into essential decorating techniques, including color mixing, buttercream marbling, piping fundamentals, and creating elegant rosettes, ruffles, stars, and decorative accents. You'll also learn how to work with multiple colors in a piping bag to achieve stunning swirled effects and professional-looking finishes. Then comes the fun part... decorating! You'll put your new skills into practice as you create a collection of gorgeous floral-inspired cupcakes, complete with vibrant buttercream swirls, textured details, and eye-catching designs that are almost too pretty to eat. Perfect for beginners looking to build a strong foundation or home bakers eager to elevate their decorating skills, this hands-on class is creative, educational, and packed with techniques you'll use again and again in your own kitchen. MENU: Raspberry Lemonade Cupcakes featuring Lemon Cake, Raspberry Compote Filling, and Vanilla Buttercream, plus a savory snack. CLASS TIME: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
