Get ready for the ultimate summer macaron party. In this bright and citrusy hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make stunning French macarons inspired by juicy summer oranges and fresh key limes, complete with adorable hand-painted citrus slice designs that are almost too cute to eat. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through the macaron-making process, including mixing and folding batter, piping techniques, achieving those signature “feet,” coloring shells, and decorating beautiful citrus-inspired designs. Then comes the best part: filling them with two dreamy summer flavors — tangy Key Lime Pie macarons featuring homemade key lime curd and luscious cream cheese buttercream, plus nostalgic Orange Creamsicle macarons with silky orange curd and fluffy orange cream cheese buttercream. You’ll leave class with handcrafted macarons, new pastry skills, and the confidence to recreate these sunny treats at home all summer long. No experience necessary — just bring your love of sweets and your summer spirit. CLASS TIME: 11:00 PM – 1:00 PM MENU: Macarons filled with Key Lime Pie and Orange Creamsicle BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
