Remember the treats you couldn’t wait to find in your lunchbox? We’re giving those childhood favorites a homemade upgrade in this hands-on baking class inspired by the sweet snacks we grew up loving! You’ll recreate three nostalgic treats completely from scratch, learning the techniques behind the familiar flavors and textures that made them childhood favorites. Think soft and chewy oatmeal cookies sandwiched with rich, nutty brown butter buttercream, flaky homemade toaster pastries bursting with berry filling, and tender chocolate cake rolled around a creamy center. MENU: Oatmeal Cream Pie with Brown Butter Buttercream, Berry Good Pop Tarts, Mini Chocolate Swiss Rolls. Along the way, you’ll practice a variety of baking and pastry techniques while discovering just how good these classic treats can be when they’re made from scratch. The result? All the nostalgia of your favorite childhood snacks, only fresher, more flavorful, and made by you. Come ready to bake, snack, and take a delicious trip down memory lane. No lunchbox required! ✨ Menu Contains: Wheat, Milk, Eggs. Menu cannot be made gluten free. CLASS TIME: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM BYOB: We're a BYOB venue! If you'd like to pick up some beer or wine on your way, we're conveniently close to a few stores. State Line Liquor Store is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from Pineville Matthews Rd, and Frugal MacDougal's is right before the turn to Springhill Farm Rd if you're coming from I-77. Glassware and openers are provided free of charge! 1 WEEK NOTICE: Full refund or future class credit. (ALL VALENTINE'S CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE 2 WEEK NOTICE TO RECEIVE REFUND) 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may receive a future class credit that may only be rescheduled once. If you cannot make the new class, you may give your seat to someone else to attend in your place, but no further credit will be issued. LESS THAN 72 HOURS NOTICE: You may give your seat to someone to attend in your place, but no credit will be given. Please just have your stand-in give your name at the door. NO SHOW: If you do not call or e-mail prior to the class, no refund or credit will be given. Please remember that the classes are events like a concert or a play, not an appointment to be rescheduled.
