Camp Session 5: Summer Bake-Off
Ages 10 - 13 | July 20 - 24
14 spots left
Service Description
This 5-day baking camp focuses on a blend of classic baking methods and pastry artistry, perfect for young chefs who love to mix, knead, roll, and decorate! Each day of this Summer Baking Camp is built around core baking techniques that campers will explore through hands-on kitchen experiences. Campers will be divided into two groups of 8–9, each led by one of our professional chef instructors. This structure ensures personalized attention, a supportive learning environment, and lots of fun along the way! Throughout the week, campers will: • Learn fundamental baking techniques for both sweet and savory recipes • Explore skills like dough handling, piping, decorating, layering, folding, and proofing • Practice kitchen safety, measuring and conversions, timing, and teamwork • Enjoy their creations daily! Each day will focus on a new skill set and recipe collection. Some recipes will be started on one day and completed on the next—allowing campers to truly understand the process and patience that baking requires. While we’re known for our sugar-loving ways, we intentionally include both sweet and savory recipes to help students become well-rounded bakers. Each recipe is taught in a step-by-step method to help campers master foundational techniques they can use again and again.
